I will be honest, I was a bit hesitant to do this workshop because of the stigma of the ‘romance’ genre. I’m so glad that I didn’t listen to myself. Thank you so much Kris for all the knowledge you imparted today. I know that these keys will definitely help me in writing my books. You packed a lot of information but it was laid out so wonderfully. I understood exactly what you meant. Thank you again.
What great feedback! Kris is amazing.

I look at books like Last of the Mohicans or Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and they are, at their core, romance books. Men embrace the values of romance and relationship-growing just as much as anyone, and we need to embrace and normalize that.
Having a romance genre/label allows for individuals to find the books which focus heavily on interpersonal engagements, but separating tender human-to-human interactions from any broader story is akin to acknowledging the amazing precision of the entire human body and its systems, but excluding the heart as the only piece to be examined separately.
