You've got questions, we've got answers!

We want to make sure you feel comfortable with this whole process…

Hopefully you've registered and made a note on your calendar to remind you that the Women in Publishing Summit begins March 2nd, and now you might be asking – wait, how does this thing even work??

How do you “attend” an online summit?

Here are all the details and some tips so you can make the most of your 2020 Conference experience.

Please note – We
made some changes from last year, so if you're a veteran to the Women in Publishing Summit, you may want to read through as well.

This is a virtual event. The majority of the presentations will be available on our website. BUT… you'll need the direct link to the content, and you will not be able to access it just by going to the main page on the website.

Some of the events will be happening Live on our Facebook page, so you'll want to follow us, head over to the page and RSVP here.
https://www.facebook.com/pg/WomenInPublishing/events/

How to access the content:

Each morning, you will receive an email that has the links to the content for that day. If you aren't checking your email, you won't get the links. They aren't available to people who aren't registered. With the exception of the Facebook lives, which are available to everyone. If you do not use Facebook, we'll add the presentations to the website as soon as they are complete.

The content will go “live” at 10am EST.

You will have 24 hours to view the content. So Day 1 – 1000am EST on Monday until 1000am EST on Tuesday. Once the 24 hours has passed, you'll only be able to access it if you purchase one of the upgrades.

There are SIXTY free presentations for you to consume – both on the website and Facebook live. I assure you, you'll have plenty to choose from and lots of learning!

Is the conference truly free?

You betcha it is! The core of the conference is provided to you at NO CHARGE, thanks to all those amazing sponsors in the image above. That would be BublishProWritingAid, BookBaby, ListenUp Audiobooks, Grace Point Publishing, Write|Publish|Sell, and Vervante. Or as I like to call them, my heros!

There are SIXTY presentations both pre-recorded plus a handful of live presentations happening the week of the event that you never have to pay a dime for.

There are some aspects of the conference that are only available if you upgrade. But you can certainly get a large amount of learning from what we've got for free.

Some of the workshops are reserved for those who choose to purchase the Premium Conference ticket, or All Access Pass.

Why are you asking me to upgrade?

Great question. First, it's worth it! Access to the knowledge of 95 women who are making amazing things happen as well as many books, discounts, and tools to help you, plus additional masterclasses. When you upgrade, you're investing in additional tools and resources to help you move farther along in your author journey. But if you don't want to upgrade, you're still getting a lot at the Free Access Level, thank you again to our sponsors.

You can choose to stay at the free level and learn a TON of valuable information! Our speakers really brought their A game in these interviews.

Why might you want to upgrade?

  • You want the additional training and resources provided in the community throughout the year, not just the week of the conference. Over $2000 worth of training, content, and tools for you!
  • Access to 5 live workshops/masterclassesthat are happening the week of the event, taught by incredible masters of their trade, like Roshanda Pratt.
  • You want COMMUNITY to push you forward in your author business.
  • You can't sit in front of your computer all day watching videos.
  • You want immediate access – why wait until March 2nd to start watching the content? Plus, you might not be ready for all of the information, so you can save to access it whenever it's applicable to your stage of the writing, publishing, and selling process.
  • You want to watch the content multiple times to get the most from it.

What are your upgrade options?

Videos – $47. It is exactly what is says. The VIDEOS from the content that is available during the week on the main page. No workshops, no private membership area. No bonuses. Just videos.

This is for the person who honestly would rather pay $47 than try to catch the presentations throughout the day the week of the conference. It's a convenience purchase.

The Premium All Access Pass / Full Conference Ticket.  This is currently $67 on Early bird pricing until March 1st. It will be $97 from March 2-8 and $147 beginning March 9th. You get everything. Audio, videos, bonuses, master classes, discounts, additional training throughout the year, private membership area. Ebooks, discounts on services and tools… you will have immediate access to the membership area and the content to access whenever you want.

This is for the personwho isready to invest in some additional training and resources to move forward with their writing career.

We've heardbackfrom many of the people who bought theAll AccessPass last year that it took them a full year to work throughall of thecontent. They loved the community, and they appreciate the additional tools through the bonuses.

Here are some of the things people said about 2019 All Access Pass/ Premium Conference Ticket:

Patricia: I owned a successful Digital Marketing Company for 10 years ( focused on travel and tourism) and ran a Digital Marketing Conference for 10 years. The Women in Publishing Summit reminded me how many new tools have come on the market and provided up to date tips and takeaways for self publishing authors like myself. I have been very impressed! Thank God I bought the all-access pass, what a bargain!

Peggy C: I signed up for the All Access Pass because I just cannot get enough from these wonderful ladies! Since starting the Women in Publishing Summit, I have been so inspired and have begun to blog and write again.

Laura: I bought the all-access pass because I knew I wouldn't be able to participate during what was a hectic week for me. I just listened to Alexa's interview with Cindy Tyler and was Blown. A. Way. I didn't know such a company existed. Glory be. Can't wait to watch more.

Clarissa S.: I enjoyed the summit being registered for free, but realized by day 4 that I actually would like continued access to these amazingly informative Women in Publishing Summit, so I bought the All Access Pass.

Carolyn: Thank you for this phenomenal opportunity. You have put together a Magnificent program and one of the Best Leadership and Success oriented informational trainings I have ever attended. I did purchase the package so that I can go back and re-listen to these presentations as I travel on this path of Writing and Authorship. Your courses are a big help to not have to “re-invent the wheel” so to speak. I am 71 years young and Time is a commodity I cannot waste. My writings will be my legacy to my Family. Again I thank you for your Professionalism of reaching out to help Women be All they Can Be.

How do I upgrade?

===========>UPGRADE HERE<=============

You don't have to ever upgrade… you're going to learn a lot regardless. But we have a LOT in store over the next year for those of you who do choose to take your learning to the next level.

As mentioned, here is a mega surplus of content that is free. But I‘m going to be super transparent here…

I will continue to ask you if you want to upgrade for two reasons.

One – it's too much information to take in over one week. It just is. So this allows you to take your time, join our group, ask questions, and come back to the information so that you can truly benefit from it.

And two – because, well, this is a business. Businesses have to make money if they are going to stay in business. Just like you will learn how to market your books to your audience and readers, I am marketing my product – tools, resources, and an incredible community – to you.

It used to make me feel icky to sell my product. I didn't enjoy asking. This is a topic we talk about EVERY year in the Summit. Why are women so afraid to SELL? Over time, I've realized that there is great value in what we offer, and it's not sustainable for me to work for free. I also believe in paying my team of women a fair wage and supporting other small businesses.

Likewise, YOU should never be afraid to ask people to invest in your books, business owner, or programs. Day 5 is all about the Business of being an author.

Thanks to our amazing sponsors, you'll get access to a lot of content whether you upgrade or not. For me, it really comes down to community and support.

Our FIRST priority is helping women gain access to resources that will help them get their message into the world – their words in front of the people that need it.

In a nutshell:

Free access – gets you a lot of content, released each day and available for 24 hours. If you want to stick to the free level – we still have a TON of content available for you to consume. Our goal is always to provide a robust program of content, even if you aren't interested in upgrading.

Videos = videos of the free content, but to watch whenever and wherever you want.

Premium Access – Community, private group, all content, bonus workshops and training.

Watch your email each morning M-F March 2nd – 8th for the links to the new content, or access at will in the membership area if you've upgraded. But make sure you show up for the Workshops!

Don't forget to download your workbook so that you can plan which presentations you do not want to miss!

If you haveanyquestions, we're here to help!
