Patty Staco, Founder of Unleash Your BoldTM
Patty is a Women’s Empowerment and Spiritual Life Coach. As a first generation American, Patty carried the debilitating weight of people pleasing and chasing perfect at the ultimate expense of trading in her dreams for a life of stability, security and obligation. It was through the struggles of early motherhood that she broke down and broke through to the forgotten woman staring back. It was in that moment, choosing to honor the woman in the mirror that her path that became her purpose.

Kari lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband Jared and their four boys. When she miscarried Addie Faye in 2015, she was heartbroken because she had always wanted a daughter. But a wise counselor encouraged Kari to express her grief instead of suppressing it. Shortly after the loss, she decided to write a book series about how she envisioned life with her little girl. Addie Faye and the Lost Boys is Kari’s attempt to breathe life into her hopes and dreams for Addie and to inspire others who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infertility, to find a creative outlet for their pain and sadness. The first book in the Addie Faye series was released in November 2017 and the second book is in the process of being illustrated and will be coming out soon! Kari and her illustrator Matt Wiede enjoy speaking at schools and sharing with the students about writing, editing, illustrating and publishing.

Jody Smith is a first-time author and longtime believer in fairytales. A former interior designer and store owner, this now present mama, dreamer and explorer is telling stories just outside of Mpls, MN. She loves watching her two charismatic girls use their imagination, grit, smarts and whimsy to navigate this world. It inspired her to write a book for all the princesses who are capable of saving themselves and for all the mindful mothers who revel in raising strong daughters.
