The Women in Publishing Summit is an annual online conference that attracts thousands of authors seeking to learn more about the craft and opportunities surrounding publishing. But it's more than that! It's a community of professionals and a tight knit group focused on empowerment, encouragement, and success. We have monthly webinars and events all year.

In addition to the annual virtual conference, Women in Publishing also hosts monthly webinars to highlight our sponsors for continued education, exposure, and promotion throughout the year. These webinars average 500+ registrations (sometimes as many as 1000!).

Our main page hosts commercials and videos from our Sponsors from the time the conference ends in March until September 30th.
Who Are The Attendees?
The Women In Publishing Summit is the online conference women authors and industry professionals can’t wait to attend. The attendees want to learn about new strategies to grow their business, the tools that will take them there and build the confidence into a profitable full-time career, all via their business colleagues. They are seeking connections with publishers, service providers, printers, marketing solutions, editing, graphic design, formatting – basically any tool that can help them in their writing and publishing or professional journey.
Our job is to play match maker between attendee and sponsor.

Sponsorship Results
We offer a variety of sponsorship levels in order to meet the needs of both our sponsors and our attendees. What we have found is that any level of sponsorship garners a minimum of 200 highly engaged and eager website clicks. The clicks data is an average number of clicks to the sponsor website as we track them through our links. This does not include data on people who visited the website without going through our tracked link. It also does not include the number of people who clicked on and registered for sponsor webinars. The data on the clicks is only one small piece of the results. We have high attendance rates in the webinars with the sponsors. The average webinar registration is over 500 per webinar with 120-200 live attendees. We also have a large number of people go directly to sponsor websites after they have spoken with them in the actual conference. Based on the amount of returning sponsors we have each year and their feedback, we know our sponsors are gaining new clients and sales from our attendees.

What You Need to Know About the Women in Publishing Summit
The Women in Publishing Summit is the first of its kind. A summit FOR women BY women. The month of March was chosen specifically because it is Women’s History Month, and marketing will be focused around women’s achievements as well as how we can work together to help women with the dream of publishing or growing their business with a book achieve that goal.
2024 is the 7th annual Women in Publishing Event. Our event continues to grow each year with increased ticket sales and engagement.
Our first event resulted in over 8,000 registrants and over 20,000 unique views to the online conference over a one week time frame. In 2019 we tripled our registration rate and more than doubled the online views just shy of 54,000 in the month of March. The online views for the 2022 promotions were 72,000+! In 2020 we moved from a free summit to a paid conference, and have consistently had over 1000 ticket holders each year. In our post conference survey from 2023, 79% said they will definitely return in 2024!
More importantly, our sponsors received great web traffic. All levels garnered at least 200 clicks, but our Gold and Platinum level sponsors received over 1100 clicks to their website and offers.
How We Market This Event:
We focus on getting the word out to women who are interested in writing a book AND publishers and experts in the industry who may also be in need of, or can refer your services to their clients. We accomplish this by delivering Facebook Ads, regular newsletter broadcasts to our email list of 20K+, announcements in our large communities, paid banner advertising, social media marketing, podcast appearances and guest posting, and search engine marketing techniques. Then we explode all of that with a stellar affiliate marketing program offered to all of our participants and other supporters of the conference. The affiliates take our messages and images to blow up their own social media about growing, learning, and sharing the good vibes. Our sponsors benefit greatly as our message reaches over 1 million eyes through these efforts.
