Kathryn (Kiffer) Brown is the CEO and Founder of Chanticleer Book Reviews and Chanticleer Int’l Book Awards (CIBAs), where she leads efforts to discover and promote today’s best books. Since founding Chanticleer in 2011, Kiffer has worked tirelessly to help authors navigate the complex world of publishing, offering a variety of services to enhance book discoverability. Under her leadership, Chanticleer has become a trusted name in the industry, providing editorial reviews, book promotion, and awards recognition to authors worldwide.
Kiffer’s extensive background in publishing and marketing has led to speaking engagements at major conferences such as PNWA, SFWC, Writer’s Digest NYC, RWA Nat’l, ECWC, Pubsense, Digital Book World, Left Coast Crime, Historical Novel Society conferences, Bublish Webinars, BEA UpubU, Alli, and others, of course including the annual Chanticleer Authors Conference. With a passion for helping authors succeed, Kiffer has contributed to the publishing community through her work with non-profits, including the Junior League, and as the founder of the Upstart Crows Writers Association. She also served as president of the Whatcom Writers and Publishers, and as a board member of Western Washington University’s Publishing Program.
Kiffer Brown works with authors across the globe by using her marketing and PR talents to help them broaden their audiences and assisting publishers on how to increase sales by thinking of new ways to use their branding to expand market-share.
