She is dedicated to equipping people with the tools to Live Intentional Today, helping them step into their divine purpose with confidence. Once she discovered her own calling, her gifts began to unfold, bringing powerful visions to life and shaping the work she does today. As a multi-faceted leader, Deraeé wears many hats that connect her with people from all walks of life, leaving a lasting impact through her infectious joy. She is the owner of MUADeraee LLC, a beauty and community-centered business that empowers individuals by helping them look and feel their best. Beyond the beauty industry, she is a published author, speaker, event host, emcee, stage play actress, minister of faith, and the creator of the City-Wide Book Fair—a movement designed to uplift and showcase authors.
With over 20 years of experience in customer relations, Deraeé has mastered the art of communication, making her a natural connector who understands people’s needs and ensures they feel seen and valued. However, at the heart of her work is a foundation built on faith, love, and a deep passion for inspiring people to embrace their greatness.

Her passion for creating opportunities for others led to the founding of the City-Wide Book Fair. After witnessing an author struggling to gain visibility at a pop-up event, she realized the need for a dedicated space where authors could be seen, appreciated, and celebrated. What began as an idea quickly evolved into a movement, bringing authors together to share their stories, connect with the community, and thrive in an environment designed just for them. The City-Wide Book Fair has since become a highly anticipated event, offering authors a supportive platform to showcase their work while fostering a community of writers and readers who uplift and inspire one another. “We are so excited to continue creating a space where authors can be seen in the right environment, surrounded by fellow creatives,” says Deraeé.
